How to spend the day in Abeno Harukas

Last updated 3/9/2026
Abeno Harukasu

Abeno Harukas is one of the most iconic skyscrapers in Japan, located in Osaka. At 300 meters tall, it's the tallest building in the country and offers stunning city views, shopping, art, and dining – all in one place.

If you're planning to spend a day here, this guide will help you enjoy everything Abeno Harukas has to offer!

Take a Train to Tennoji Station

To visit Abeno Harukas, head to Tennoji Station – it's directly connected to the building.

Train Access:

  • From Osaka Station: Take the JR Osaka Loop Line (about 15 minutes).

  • From Namba Station: Take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line (about 10 minutes).

  • From Kyoto: Take the JR Special Rapid Service to Osaka Station, then transfer to the Loop Line.

Once you arrive: Follow signs inside the station for “Abeno Harukas” or “Harukas 300.” You’ll see signs in English too. The building is directly connected to the Kintetsu Department Store area.

People relax on cushioned seats by large windows in a tall observation deck, enjoying a panoramic city view on a sunny day. The scene has wooden floors, greenery, and a vast urban landscape below.
