Along the way, you’ll enjoy beautiful views, delicious local food, and unique experiences. Whether you love history, shopping, or just trying new things, this itinerary is perfect for a fun and relaxing day in Osaka.
Let’s get started!
Start your day by taking a train to Morinomiya Station or Osakajokoen Station. These stations are close to Osaka Castle, your first stop.
Osaka Metro Chuo Line → Morinomiya Station
JR Loop Line → Osakajokoen Station
Tanimachi Line → Tanimachi 4-chome Station (another option)
From the station, follow the signs to Osaka Castle Park.
Walking Distance: 5–10 minutes from the station
Entrance Fee: ¥600 (for the castle tower)
Things to Do at Osaka Castle:
✔ Walk around Osaka Castle Park and enjoy the gardens.
✔ Visit the Osaka Castle Museum to learn about Samurai history.
✔ Go up to the observation deck for a great city view.
✔ See the Nishinomaru Garden (extra fee), a quiet place with nice castle views.
Before moving on, relax with a coffee at one of these cafés:

From Osaka Castle, take the JR Loop Line or Tanimachi Line to Osaka Tenmangu Station.

Once you arrive, walk to Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, an important shrine in Osaka.
