What other travelers are saying about Children's Nature Park
This park was fun to explore. You’ll enjoy roaming around especially if you’re into bird watching. There’s a playground with a huge slide that’s fun for kids, a large picnic area, a selection of ponds that’s beautifully landscaped, and a hill with a scenic view. There’s also a part full of cherry blossom trees. The whole space is wide enough that it doesn’t get too busy. You can easily spend the whole day or afternoon going around.
Very large park with abundant trees. You'll find lots of critters in this place! My kids found grasshoppers, cicadas and lizards. We were lucky enough to see a kingfisher! You can buy drinks in the park so you can play even on the hottest days. And the giant slide in this park is AMAZING!!!
This was recommended on a Facebook group for its easy drive on the toll road, hiking and a great playground with a roller slide. It’s a beautiful park. We came just before the sakura but this park was made for sakura viewing parties. The Grove covers a hillside and there were platforms and picnic tables set up. The trails we're nicely shaded in most spots. The playground was amazing and a-maze-ing. You could truly lose your kids for a few minutes here. The roller slide was fun although not super long. Parking was 300 yen. Tolls from Yokosuka were around 970 yen for about a 35-40 min drive.
