Fuefukigawa Fruit Park, Yamanashi

Fuefukigawa Fruit Park is a 32.2-hectare urban park located in Yamanashi Prefecture, developed under the theme of "flowers, fruits, and wine." The park showcases the agricultural heritage of the historic Kōshū Province, featuring the traditional "Kōshū Hatchinka" - the eight unique fruits cultivated in this region during the Edo period. Today, the area remains renowned for peaches and grapes, continuing centuries of fruit cultivation tradition.

Positioned at the midpoint of the Fruit Line connecting Fuefuki-shi and Yamanashi-shi, the park houses over 1,000 fruit trees representing approximately 30 varieties across its sloping terrain. The elevated location provides sweeping panoramic views of the Kofu Basin and Mount Fuji, making it a significant viewpoint in the region. The park's night illumination has earned official recognition as one of Japan's "New Best 3 Night Views," establishing it as a premier destination for evening visits.

Individual attractions operate with separate admission fees: the Fruit Museum charges ¥400, while the Greenhouse and Fruit Hall require a ¥400 entrance fee. Visitors can reach the park by taking local buses to the "Fuefukigawa Fruits Koen" stop after arriving at nearby railway stations in the Yamanashi area.
