If you like shopping malls/ outlet parks, then you will like Granberry Mall. Although not huge, it has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The shops are mainly major international and Japanese brands, but there are a few smaller (more interesting) boutiques as well. There are several restaurants, as well as a food court, and cafes are also dotted around the mall. It is impressively clean, and the overall atmosphere is helped by several open spaces that are used for events such as markets, stalls and so on. There is a very good cinema on site with an IMAX screen, and the Snoopy museum is also located on this site. Overall a good experience if you like outlet malls. As is normal in Japan, it can become very crowded at peak times. Update (May 2024) - it is worth noting that the shopping center is directly connected to a park with seating and play areas for children, and it is easy to grab some food from the food court and eat there if you want to eat outside.
Grandberry park is a must if you want to get a local vibe and need for a shopping spree. Plenty of stores to choose from. Lots to see, eat and kid friendly. Right next to a park itself, so plenty of runners, dog walkers and locals hanging out that are willing to interact with you. Very updated area that has allot to offer.
Best thing about this place. I was happy to find a prayer room in the mall that was clean, peaceful, and easy to find. It had a comfortable space for ablution, which made everything convenient. The room was quiet and well-maintained, perfect for a quick prayer. I appreciate the mall for providing this thoughtful facility. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to pray while shopping!
