What other travelers are saying about Hamamatsu Flower Park
Visited on a Monday afternoon and it was not that crowded.
Purchased tickets in advance online via KKday.
Very convenient, there’s a direct bus straight from Hamamatsu train station.
The park mascot was very cute.
Small foodcourt and shop near the entrance.
Nice walk around the park with lots of photo spots.
Managed to catch the sunset and illumination.
Late March to early April is peak season for the 1,300 cherry blossom trees. The wisteria tunnel blooms late April to early May. The tulip garden displays 700,000 bulbs from March to April, while the rose garden peaks in May and October. Admission prices range from ¥500 to ¥1,000 depending on the season, with higher fees during cherry blossom and wisteria periods.
Take the Enshū Railway Kanzanji Line to Kanzanji Station, then transfer to a bus for 10 minutes. Direct buses from Hamamatsu Station run during peak seasons and take 40 minutes. By car, the park is 8 kilometers northwest via the Tomei Expressway. Parking costs ¥200 per day with space for 1,800 vehicles.
Adult admission ranges from ¥500 to ¥1,000 depending on seasonal flower displays. Children and seniors receive reduced rates. Peak pricing applies during cherry blossom and wisteria seasons. The park adjusts fees based on which flowers are currently blooming.
The park features 1,300 cherry trees, a wisteria tunnel with 600 plants, 1,800 rose varieties, and 700,000 spring tulips. The crystal palace greenhouse contains tropical plants. An observation tower provides views of Lake Hamana. Musical fountain shows run regularly, and nighttime illumination events operate during peak blooming seasons.
A nice, peaceful, well-managed park. Nothing fancy and not too big, but totally worth a visit for a walk or leisure time. The park is free, but the observation tower costs 300 yen, and you get a stamp rally to play with!
A friend recommended this place, so we visited during the New Year. The gardens were beautiful, and the nighttime light and water show was amazing. Everything was super clean, and the staff were really friendly and professional.
I went to Hamamatsu Flower Park last month. Unexpected that it was free no ticket needed. It's so beautiful. You can take a tram to sightseeing around the park, it cost you ¥100 only. I recommended you to try to rose softcream inside Crystal Palace. It's so delicious and taste like a rose for real. ✨
Big flower garden with variety of flowers inside. I enjoyed the fountain. You can take outside food here to eat with friend and family. Try to visit during June-July, you might get chance to see wisteria bloomed. Also if you visit during period of sept to dec.
