Great museum that also does special events such as illuminated paper nights and workshops... Worth a visit even if you are not so interested in the history of tosa washi paper.
A small but very specific museum. Exhibits probably take about 45 minutes to go through in detail to learn about the history of paper making in this town. The paper making experience takes just 10 minutes so you'll be in and out with your own paper souvenirs in no time.
Such an awesome experience to make this from pulp to paper. We loved especially how it was fully hands on .. you watch the instructor then follow yourself. The whole thing took less than 10mins and it was dry in30mins.during this time we explored the gallery which was extremely informative and has English available. After you get your postcard make sure to stop and apply some cool Japanese stamps if you want.
