One of the most prettiest hike you can do within a single day from Tokyo (but wake up early!). If you have a car go to Oodarumi Touge Parking Station area or wake up early and take a taxi from JR Enzan Station to this parking place (takes about 1 hour so bring some cash or friends! the price was over 10,000 JPY). The trail starts from the parking area through Asahi Mountain. The hike is medium level with some steep areas and rocks to climb or go down, but the experience and the view makes up for it. The view from the top is incredible, very dynamic and impressive landscape with huge rocks and wild nature. Make sure to bring food and cash with you (some taxi companies or shops only take cash). Also plan well with extra time since bus and train is limited on the countryside and you may need to call for a taxi on the way back as I did. Bring cash, comfortable shoes, water, food and a hiking app like Yamap.

Mt. Kinpu wasn't a easy hike especially during winter. It was difficult! it took me 7hrs to reach almost the peak I still have 15 mins to reach it but I decided to turn back before reaching the peak I don't have the proper gear and the black ice quite crazy up! I started my hike 9am I was 2 hrs late but still happy to reach and saw those beautiful scenery. While I was going up everyone heading down it's scares me & never hike alone during winter 🥶 and without proper gear. Muscle pain & my experience was good + scenery was 🤙🤘😀 you never fail to make me happy glorious mountain!

Mt. Kimpu is for beginners like pop music. If you are a hard climber, you might be lettle boring like classical music. Either you are a hard climber or not, you will be able to enjoy great view. On the way to the top of the mountain, you can see the view of Mt. Fuji. That's really amazing, like Opera. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can find stacked rocks. lf one of the rock is rolling down, you can feel Rock'n roll!
