This castle was where preparations for the attack on Inabayama Castle were underway, having moved from Kiyosu Castle 🏯 to Komakiyama Castle 🏯.
It's quite a walk from the parking lot 🅿️ to the castle, but the view from the keep was excellent.
A year ago, I couldn't go to the castle because of bad weather. This time, the weather was great, and I was able to go. The view was fantastic.
There is a large park at the foot of the mountain where children can play.
This beautiful, carefully maintained castle is located right in front of the city hall. There are frequent buses from the station, and it takes about 10 minutes to get there. If you have a car, you can park for free at the city hall right in front of it. It took us about three hours to leisurely explore the Historical Site Information Center at the base, the History Museum at the top, and the Ote-michi and Sentendo courses. The grounds are well-maintained and the paths are well-maintained, making it very easy to tour.
There seems to be a shuttle bus from the base to the summit, so it should be easy for people with mobility issues to visit as well.
It was a wonderful place, and I would like to express my gratitude to everyone involved with the Komakiyama Historic Site, from past to present.
