Beautiful and the most cosy and friendly town I've visited this trip. Not very quiet at night as everyone was so happy and started partying because this town feels so warm and welcoming. It's very easy to buy snacks and food as the town is very convenient for people to walk up and down, left and right. Ski slopes were gentle and there's great food options, great for a week's stay if you have the time to explore around town and do winter sports. Miss this place so much after I left and will definitely be back to visit if I have the chance in future.
Myoko village is a pretty little place with a few cafes and restaurants. Easy access to ski slopes - walking distance to Akakura Onsen lifts and not too far to Akakura Kanko ( walk or shuttle).
Beautiful area of Northeast Japan, with scenic mountains and also low areas that are calming and a great getaway, only two hours away from bustling Tokyo.
