LOVE THIS STORE!! It's improved from when I went a few years ago. There's a lot more merch now, especially for Animal Crossing yippee! 🩷🌸 I wish there was a bit more LOZ stuff though. The store can get a bit busy which is something to keep in mind!
Located on the 6th floor of a huge mall complex, this Nintendo store won't disappoint you...and neither will all the other cool shops surrounding it inside the building/mall. Our son bought two video games for the switch2, which came out cheaper than prices in the US by about 15%...and yes they worked perfectly fine. Tons of merchandise to choose from, across a variety of Nintendo games/platforms. Don't miss the cool 'Nintendo Tokyo' photo opp outside, just passed the cashiers (you don't have to wait in line for the outside photo ops). Once you're done with this shop, enjoy all the others nearby!
If you grew up playing Nintendo games, this is the store for you. They have tons of things there including not only gift shop area, but also Switch 1/2 games, controllers, Amiibo's, and more.
They also sell the exclusive Nintendo Online Store Controllers including but not limited to N64, GameCube, etc. You need to be a NSO Member to be granted to buy it but other than that, you can buy it physically there.
Overall had a great time there.
Very cool store to visit for Nintendo fans. Great statues of their popular games including Mario, Animal Crossing and Legend of Zelda. They had a good selection of items for their games and when I visited they had a demo of the new Star Fox game.
Prices were a tad high for me but I did get their gashapon controller keychains, which was cool.
Nintendo Tokyo is a fun and vibrant store, especially for fans of Mario, Zelda, and all things Nintendo. The space is beautifully designed with colorful displays, themed sections, and plenty of exclusive merchandise you won’t easily find elsewhere.
It does get very crowded, and you may have to wait to browse certain areas or check out. Prices can be a bit high, but the quality and uniqueness of the items make it worthwhile. Overall, a great experience and a must-visit if you’re a Nintendo fan.
