What other travelers are saying about Niseko Adventure Centre
Rafting was fun with the beautiful Mt Yotei in the background. Guide was very kind. No snowmelt in September so waters were extremely calm and we mostly just floated down a lazy river
I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of supervision during my child tree trekking course. A female staff member with shoulder-length dyed copper hair, repeatedly left my daughter unattended. When her harness got stuck, she had to yell for help, but Nene was sitting on a course in a completely different section, not standing by on ground. So each time I had to walk over and asked her to go help. Then she just slowly climbed down. When my daughter asked questions, Nene left her waiting 10+ minutes, seeming distracted and forgot to answer her. Most concerning, one time my daughter was hung in the air screaming 2-3 meters above ground as she fell under the blue tube structure she was stepping on. The staff was just standing in front of some harnesses daydreaming. Only a rock climbing staff who doesn’t work at tree trekking responded after I shouted for help for half a minute. This negligence is unacceptable and very concerning for a children’s activity where safety is critical. I am extremely shocked at the staff’s unprofessional attitude.
I did rafting with my family( 8yr old and 12yr old boys). The guide Rodriguez is fantastic! He and the other Nepalese guide on the other raft were super enthusiastic and so engaging.they made the whole river journey a memorable one for all of us. Highly recommend to all to come to NAC for river rafting and other water activities. The guides here truly make the difference!
I did rafting in here, was very fun even though the river is not the big thing, guides are funny guys and the equipment was immaculate, I just had a problem with the shoe pocket in the front left sit in the boat, it was broken and a bit uncomfortable as well as my foot couldn't "be safe" enough, anyways it was super fun and I might do it again.
Recommendation: spring course, a lot of water and funny ride, not too many but nice rapids.
Lowest point: in the front desk they spoke plain japanese, which made it very hard in therms of understanding the instructions before jumping in the tour.
