What other travelers are saying about Rusutsu Resort
We went to Rusutsu Resort to do snowmobiling, snow rafting, and dog sledding and it was the most fun I've ever had in a REALLY long time! I felt "my inner kid" come out when snow rafting and never thought it would be that much fun! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also all of the guides we incredibly friendly, competent and amazing to see them having just as much fun as us :) I will DEFINITELY be coming back!!
Stayed here and was absolutely fantastic! Ski in & out of resort. Staff are absolutely fantastic, friendly and accommodating. Rooms were lovely and had everything you need (fridge was tiny. This was a big issue for us
Lots to see and do.
One of the nicest resorts I’ve been to, the cafe neve was the first one I’ve been to that has live violin and piano at least. I also specifically checked out the storage locker and these large ones are 400yen per use and fit my medium + carry on sized bag with no issue.
Great place for families during winter and summer.
Ample places to dine but gets crowded.
Parking is free and plentiful.
The Rusutsu international ski school located at the South Wing 2nd Floor 2F is great! My children took a 5 hr private ski lesson and the Italian instructor (Lorenzo) took them from zero (1st time skiing) to learning how to parallel ski (intermediate). My children enjoyed their lesson. English was the communication medium.
The slopes were nicely groomed. The powder snow was wonderful to ski on.
You can rent your ski equipment from Salomon Rental Station within the Rusutsu Resort or from Amuse Sports from across the road.
Highly recommended!
👍👍
Website has standard ski set rental price.
But at the counter, there is another price list which is much higher price and not gives discount for longer duration.
They just refused to honor the website rate even booked online and requested extension.
