Playing a round of golf surrounded by serene and truly beautiful nature was an unforgettable experience. Bathing while gazing at the mountains and clouds feels like peaceful meditation. I wish I could live here and play golf every day. The breakfast buffet is mouthwatering, and the restaurants in the resort, including the izakaya, are excellent. The foxes you encounter during the round are absolutely adorable.
We went to Rusutsu Resort to do snowmobiling, snow rafting, and dog sledding and it was the most fun I've ever had in a REALLY long time! I felt "my inner kid" come out when snow rafting and never thought it would be that much fun! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also all of the guides we incredibly friendly, competent and amazing to see them having just as much fun as us :) I will DEFINITELY be coming back!!
If you're in to skiing then this is the place. If you're into night life try elsewhere. A bit quaint but very well run, the resort is fantastic for the avid skiers or boarders.
Stayed here and was absolutely fantastic! Ski in & out of resort. Staff are absolutely fantastic, friendly and accommodating. Rooms were lovely and had everything you need (fridge was tiny. This was a big issue for us

One of the nicest resorts I’ve been to, the cafe neve was the first one I’ve been to that has live violin and piano at least. I also specifically checked out the storage locker and these large ones are 400yen per use and fit my medium + carry on sized bag with no issue.
