What other travelers are saying about Snow Park Yeti
I had my very first ski lesson here, and it was such a lovely experience! I took a beginner lesson with an instructor who was really helpful and patient. I also spent some time trying on my own to get used to the skis – though I still have a lot to learn (I kept falling and accidentally going sideways instead of straight down the slope 😅).
The facility has all the necessary equipment, which made things super convenient. And the view of Mt. Fuji while skiing? Absolutely breathtaking – definitely the highlight of the day! 🌄
Overall, a fantastic introduction to skiing. I’ll definitely be back for more practice!
Really loved to give a 5 stars but I can't. Infact a 4 stars may be too much for some as only section1 was opened in late Nov.
We came here bringing our 10 yo daughter for snow fun and was hoping there will be more snow, but only a small snow making machine throwing snow onto a small, but decent patch for play.
The rest of the area wasn't open, which we weren't aware of earlier and was disappointed. Not their fault as we could have checked their website for updates.
The entire place does look pathetic at first, but my daughter and us had fun in the snow, plus the bbq-ing of s'mores and marshmallows were good fun! There are so much room for improvement and I will happily change tis to a 5 stars the next time.
Overall, this is still a good place just for kids who just wanna play with some snow (artificial).
I have read reviews, and has contemplated to come because we came too early in winter to have snow. But actually having to come here oursleves, we enjoyed it so much!
Yes there’s only patches of snow from snow-makers, and only 2 sections open. But if you have kids, just bring them here. Forget about the reviews, you’ll enjoy it
We went to this place on 1 Dec. It was a weekday, and there are very little people which was great as the playing area is still small.. sled area is open but playground is close. But we manage to play snow at the side of the sled area since it was not crowded.. We went there by bus from mishima station, and you buy bus tic from the station. if you are skiing, there is a discounted tic for return bus + ski rentals. if you just want to play snow and sled, buy the 1 way bus tic for 1830yen. you can buy the return bus tic via IC card when u board the bus back. we paid 7800 yen for 2A+2C for entrance tic + 2 Sled rentals. buses to and fro, it is 7320 Yen for 2 adults as kids are free. Overall, we had lots of fun, recommended that you bring your own snow toys.. but managed your expectations after all this is machine made snow..
The snow is quite harder than the usual.
Rentals are good and could have more selection on items. The Ski and sleds would be nice if they added more. It felt a little crowdy.
The resort operates from mid-October through early April. Weekdays have fewer crowds than weekends and holidays. January and February offer the coldest temperatures and best natural snow conditions. October and November provide early season skiing opportunities due to the resort's snowmaking systems.
