We crossed the Warumi Bridge, which connects Tenzoko in Nakijin Village and Yagaji Island in Nago City.
Below the bridge lies the Warumi Strait, and the view of the blue sea and surrounding greenery from above is breathtaking.
Unlike typical bridges over the sea, the bridge's impressive form, connecting a deep valley-like terrain with a large arch, is truly remarkable.
The opening of the Warumi Bridge has made travel from Nakijin Village to Yagaji Island and Kouri Island much more convenient.
It's a bridge often crossed on the way to Kouri Island, but it's a shame to just drive past it without appreciating the scenery.
There are also viewpoints at the foot of the bridge where you can enjoy the view, and on a sunny day, the color of the sea is especially beautiful.
Be sure to stop by when driving through northern Okinawa Island.
