This tour is a perfect blend of food, culture, and libations, as we take you on a taste-filled adventure. Start by experiencing the original handmade mochi from the city's main shop and watch a mochi-pounding performance. Next, head over to Harushika Brewery for a sake tasting session, where you'll sample 5 different types of sake and have the opportunity to buy some to take home. We'll then visit the Naramachi Craft Beer Brewery, where you'll enjoy a refreshing beer and snacks. The tour continues with a visit to a traditional Japanese townhouse and a local restaurant for a meal, before ending at Nakatanidou Mochi Maker to witness a mochi-pounding session and taste the freshest mochi. Stop at a traditional shop known for its kaki no ha zushi (persimmon leaf sushi). Enjoy 2–3 pieces as a light appetizer before heading to the first main stop of the tour.

Visit a well-known sake brewery for a tasting session featuring five different types of sake. You will also have the opportunity to purchase sake and other souvenirs at the brewery shop.

Visit a craft beer brewery established in 2017 that blends traditional and modern brewing styles. Enjoy a smooth, refreshing beer served with light snacks.

Stop at a local restaurant to enjoy an early dinner featuring authentic Japanese dishes. A food and drink set is included for each guest.

Visit the city’s most famous mochi shop. If the timing allows, you will watch a live mochi-pounding demonstration and then taste freshly made mochi prepared just moments before serving.

Awesome beer, sake & food Tour
Had such a fun time on this tour! Remi is super friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to many great spots in Nara that we would definitely not have been able to find on our own, and also took lots of pictures for us. We had so much good food and drinks. Definitely recommend!
