Itinerary
30-1 Higashimuki Kitamachi, Nara
Meet your guide at the 7-ELEVEN Kintetsu Nara Station North Store, across from the fountain. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get a quick overview of the day’s schedule.

Duration: 20 minutes
See the impressive Great Southern Gate, the entrance to Todaiji Temple. Take a moment to admire its wooden structure and the two large guardian statues watching over the temple grounds.

Duration: 45 minutes
Explore the famous Todaiji Temple at your own pace. Inside, see the enormous bronze Buddha statue and, if you like, try squeezing through a hole in one of the pillars for good luck. Learn about the temple’s long history and cultural importance.

Visit the historic Kikuichi knife shop, once known for making samurai swords. Get an introduction to Japanese knives and their craftsmanship. If you're interested, you can ask for advice on choosing a knife.

Walk through the peaceful Kasuga Taisha Shrine, famous for its stone lanterns and beautiful setting. Learn about its deep connection to nature and the Shinto religion. You will also have a chance to make a wish at the shrine.

Take a walk through Nara Park and enjoy seeing the friendly deer that freely roam around. Feed them special deer crackers provided during the tour and take photos in the beautiful surroundings.

Origami and Calligraphy: Try hands-on cultural activities like origami and calligraphy. Fold a paper deer and learn how to write your name in Japanese characters. These make great souvenirs to take home. (Optional) Kimono and Costume Photoshoot: If time allows, you can dress up in a Kimono or other fun costumes and take photos to create lasting memories of your visit.
