Join this full-day walking tour to see some of Kyoto’s most famous and beautiful places. Start at Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its long paths of red torii gates that create a peaceful and magical walkway through the forest. Walk through the gates, enjoy the quiet surroundings, and take great photos. 

Next, visit Arashiyama, where you can walk through the beautiful Bamboo Grove with its tall green stalks swaying gently. Nearby is Tenryuji Temple, a historic place with lovely gardens that show the beauty of Japanese nature and design.

After exploring Arashiyama, take a short walk up to Iwatayama Monkey Park, where you can see wild monkeys and enjoy amazing views of Kyoto from the top. If you don’t want to hike, you can relax and enjoy a little treat while waiting for the group. Finish the day at the Golden Pavilion, a famous temple covered in gold that shines beautifully in the sunlight. Itinerary

Kitsunezo
Fukakusa Inarionmaecho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto

Meet your guide at the Kitsunezo fox statue in front of JR Inari Station. Look for the guide wearing the Japan Tour Adventure (JTA) uniform. Please arrive a little early to make sure you start on time.

Monkey Park Iwatayama
Duration: 1 hour

Take a short uphill walk to Monkey Park, where you can see wild Japanese monkeys up close. At the top, enjoy a great view of Kyoto and even feed the monkeys. The walk is a bit steep but worth it.

Golden Temple "Kinkakuji"

End your tour at Kinkakuji, the famous Golden Pavilion. The gold-covered temple reflects beautifully in the water, creating a stunning view. Walk around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
