Saga-Arashiyama Station
Sagatenryūji Kurumamichichō, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto

Meet your friendly guide at the bottom of the South Gate stairs. At our go-to kimono shop, helpful staff will show you how to pick out and put on a kimono or yukata.
Kimono rental is included in fees.

Tenryuji Temple

Explore the calm and beautiful Tenryuji Temple. It's got some of the prettiest gardens around and is a peaceful place to walk and chat.

Arashiyama Bamboo Grove
Sagaogurayama Tabuchiyamachō, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto

A short walk away is the Bamboo Grove. Imagine walking through tall, green bamboo shoots, especially while you're dressed in your kimono.

Togetsukyo Bridge

It's a great spot to look out over the river and the nearby mountains. The view is really something special.

Kimono Forest

It's not like any forest you've seen before. There are poles wrapped in colorful kimonos, and it looks magical, especially when the lights turn on in the evening.

Saga-Arashiyama Station
Sagatenryūji Kurumamichichō, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto

After all the exploring, we'll head back to the kimono shop to change. Then, it's a short walk back to the train station.
