Ticket & Entry Information

  • Tickets must be collected within the designated time. No pick-up is available outside your reserved game day.

  • Lost or forgotten tickets cannot be reissued or refunded.

  • Your e-voucher will be sent via email and must be shown at the designated location for entry.

  • Visitors aged 4 and above require a ticket. Children under 3 may attend but must sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.

  • Re-entry is allowed only once during the event.

Seating & Accessibility

  • Specific seats cannot be selected—only seat categories are available.

  • If booking as a group, request to be seated together in advance. While staff will try to accommodate, it is not guaranteed.

  • Wheelchair-accessible seating is not available, and some seats may have restricted access.

  • There are no elevators inside Ryogoku Kokugikan. Stairs are required to access seating, and no assistance is available.

  • Large luggage and suitcases are not allowed in the seating area. Please store them at coin lockers or your accommodation in advance.

Food & Beverages

  • Eating and drinking are allowed in the seating area.

  • Food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, must be purchased inside the venue. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.

  • Popular sumo-themed dishes like chanko nabe and yakitori will be sold in the large hall on the first basement floor.

Event Rules & Conduct

  • Entry to your seat may be delayed if an important match, speech, or ceremony is in progress. Please wait until it is finished before proceeding.

  • Spectators must remain in their assigned seats and avoid standing or moving around during matches.

  • Mobile phones should be set to silent mode, and calls should not be made in the seating area.

  • Throwing cushions is strictly prohibited as it may cause injury or disruptions.

  • Cheering banners and towels should not obstruct the view of other spectators.

Other Important Information

  • There is no parking available at the venue. Please use public transportation.

  • Waiting around the venue for sumo wrestlers is discouraged to avoid disturbing the local residents.

  • Guests who arrive late for their scheduled time will have their reservations canceled without a refund.
