Mei explains in a very interesting way the origin of Japanese writing and calligraphy. The activity is very relaxing, it has a great Zen spirituality.

Mei-sensei was an excellent teacher who gave us a fascinating lesson in the history of calligraphy and a course in techniques of all the basic strokes that form the building blocks of calligraphy letters. We chose the most difficult kanji available but we were able to complete them flawlessly with her guidance! We had such a delightful time with her and will definitely visit again the next time we visit Japan!
