Spring Quartet @ Toyama 🇯🇵 – Sakura in Full Bloom with Stunning Alpine Backdrop 🌸🌷🌼🏔️
We visited on Monday, 14 April, arriving a bit late in the day around 5:00 PM, but we were lucky—sakura was still in full bloom, and the golden hour light made the scenery even more magical.
This famous “Spring Quartet” view features:
• 🌸 Cherry blossoms in full bloom along the river,
• 🌷 Bright tulip fields,
• 🌼 Golden rape flowers (油菜花), and
• 🏔️ The snow-capped Northern Alps in the distance.
Even with limited time, the scene left a deep impression. The atmosphere was calm, fewer crowds, and the view—simply breathtaking. A perfect stop for spring travelers looking for that iconic Toyama harmony of colors.
Tip: If you want better lighting and more time to explore or take photos, try to arrive earlier. Still, even at 5pm, it was unforgettable.
Cherry blossoms with snow mountain views, it’s 14 April 2025 and flowers just started to fall and it’s absolutely beautiful! The parking is 1000 yen, with food stalls next to it. Spent 4 hrs taking photos and walked around, bring a good camera if you have one and bring a picnic mat with food so you can sit under the cherry trees.
Went there mid april on 13th. Even on rainy day and misty, we can still see the Alps. The sakura was fully bloomed beautifully along the river, so worth the trip! Pity the rapeseed and tulip flowers didn't bloom at the same time this year, but still great view regardless❤️✨️
Visited on 16 April 2025. The weather was a bit gloomy with occasional rain, so the sky wasn’t very clear. Some cherry blossoms had already fallen, and the tulips weren’t in full bloom yet. Still, it’s a nice place to visit. On weekdays, the parking lot had available spaces with the 1000 yen of parking fee.

thought that there will be flowers minimally but HAHAHAHAHHAHA local bus comes on time, 200 yen per pax for a one way trip, board right outside the train station!
