What other travelers are saying about Hasshoku Center, Aomori
A local market that you can find a series of freshly sea food, nice Japanese sake, wine and souvenir stuff for tourist. Especially the experience for grilled seafood or beef over charcoal. Be well prepare to spend a half day here.
Pay ¥500 per person at reception to receive a basket and grilling station. Purchase seafood, meat, or vegetables from market stalls, then grill them over charcoal braziers. Rice and miso soup are included with the seating fee.
The main market closes on Wednesdays. Kuriya Stadium remains open daily. Individual shop hours vary, with most operating from morning until late afternoon.
Yes. Kuriya Stadium has conveyor belt sushi and shabu-shabu restaurants. Aji Yokocho offers ramen and noodle shops. You can also purchase seafood and souvenirs without dining.
The market is visual and prices are clearly displayed. Shichirin-mura staff regularly assist international visitors. Picture menus are available at some restaurants.
This is a really great spot for omiyage and tasty food. They have a good variety of souvenir items and the prices are reasonable, or at least comparable to every other omiyage spot. The fish market is also impressive and you can buy fish to grill on the spot!
Truly one of the most comprehensive fish market I have visited in Japan. Much bigger than Kushiro fish market with more variety. Prices are not too touristy as well. Definitely worth the detour into Hachinohae just for a meal here.
