Although this is a local shrine, the building looks brand new. It is quiet and peaceful because there aren't many people. I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.
Hotaka Shrine is a beautiful and serene place, surrounded by nature. When I visited there was a lovely flower festival that made the atmosphere even more special. They also offer goshuin, which makes the visit even more memorable for those collecting temple stamps.
It's a very nice quiet place. I liked how peaceful it was here. I could get a stamp for my shrine book which was neat.
Came up from Matsumoto, did a lovely bike tour ending at the Hotaka Shrine 🙏
