Kobe Municipal Fruit & Flower Park is a delightful escape into a world of vibrant blooms and bountiful orchards in the northern part of Kobe. This expansive park offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and agricultural charm, making it an ideal destination for families, nature lovers, and those seeking a peaceful retreat.

The park is renowned for its stunning flower displays that change with the seasons. In spring, tulips and cherry blossoms paint the landscape in vibrant colors, while summer brings a sea of sunflowers. Autumn showcases a spectacular array of chrysanthemums and cosmos, and winter features festive illuminations that transform the park into a magical wonderland.

One of the park's highlights is its fruit orchards, where visitors can enjoy seasonal fruit picking. Depending on the time of year, you can pick strawberries, grapes, pears, and more. This hands-on experience is both fun and educational, offering a taste of fresh, locally-grown produce.

The park also includes a charming European-style garden, complete with a picturesque fountain and a rose garden that bursts into bloom from late spring to early summer. For families, there are playgrounds and a petting zoo where children can interact with friendly animals.

The Monkees Theatre was really fun. They also offered individual photo opportunities at a very reasonable price, allowing me to relive memories from decades ago. The amusement park is geared towards children, but adults can enjoy it too. The roadside station has a decent selection of goods.

Since it was winter, there were no flowers in bloom. And even though it was so cold, there was no one at the amusement park. The only thing there was illuminations, which I thought were beautiful. Our purpose wasn't the illuminations, but the hot springs and food, so it was a weekday, not a weekend, so there were very few people there and I thought that was to be expected. It was tough because we had to walk outside in the cold to get to our room, the hot springs, and the restaurant. I don't think we'll be going for a while.
