Traditional onsen. You pay at the white building to the left of the onsen, it's only ¥500.
The onsen has separate entrances for the men's and women's baths. You step into the genkan, take off your shoes and you're in the changing room The changing room has a toilet and small lockers.
There's an indoor bath, a large outdoor bath and 3 other small outdoor baths. There's Pola body and hair washing products in the washing area. The water temperature is super comfortable.
My favorite onsen for a quick campervan trip to soak and wash up. You won't regret it. This is a good hotspring!
Kogane Onsen, a natural hot spring handmade by farmers in Hokkaido
There were definitely fairies in the view from the open-air bath.
As a Japanese hot spring lover, this is the best natural hot spring I've ever visited.
My recommendation is the hot springs and the Genghis Khan BBQ (mutton) self-barbecue here.
The cost is 2800 yen per person including hot spring fee. (Draft beer is an additional charge) Reservations required.
All vegetables are fresh from nearby farms.
The rice balls in the barbecue set were delicious, so I bought some rice as well. 2kg is 1080 yen. Even if the rice is the same variety, the rice here is more delicious than the one sold at the supermarket.
Only the hot springs are 500 yen per person.
Open only from May to October. Please check in advance.
Bring your own towel. They don't provide any towels. The view is amazing.
It has a very strong carbonic acid that will heal all the fatigue of the trip.
The personality of the people is also very nice, so you can take a bath very comfortably!
