Such a fun and surprisingly stylish aquarium right next to Shinagawa Station, super convenient to visit! It’s not your typical “look at fish in tanks” kind of place, they mix the aquarium experience with light shows, music, and digital projections, so it feels more like an art installation than a regular aquarium.
The dolphin show here is a highlight, it’s performed with synchronized lighting, music, and even fog effects at night, making it feel really dramatic and immersive. There’s also a jellyfish area with colorful lighting that’s perfect for photos, the whole place is honestly very Instagrammable.
At night the park transforms with neon lights and projection mapping on the water tanks, totally different vibe from daytime, so if you have time, it’s worth experiencing both. There’s also a small amusement section with a Ferris wheel and rides if you’re visiting with kids or just want extra fun after the aquarium.
It can get a bit crowded on weekends, so try to book tickets online in advance to skip the line. A great rainy-day activity or a unique date spot, definitely more than just fish-watching! 🐬🎡✨
Visited Shinagawa Aqua Park and really enjoyed the experience. There are many different types of sea creatures to see, and the whole place is well designed and easy to explore.
We watched the penguin show, seal show, and dolphin show. All of them were fun and entertaining, but the dolphin show was the highlight for me. The way they jump, fly, and swim together with music and lights looks amazing and very well coordinated.
The penguin and seal shows were also cute and enjoyable, each with its own style and charm. It feels like a perfect mix of education and entertainment.
Overall, a great place to visit in Tokyo. Very relaxing, visually beautiful, and full of fun performances. Definitely worth going if you love marine life and live shows.
Its good for kids. It is not usual Aquarium. They have Dolphin show, which is really good. They also have few rides (to be paid separately). Its very small Aquarium, but other activies makes it good to visit once. It is close to Shinagawa Station, so you can spend some time before going home.
You must visit. They have two rides inside and digital art. It is very spacious. They have many fish, drinks, and a nice gift shop. It’s fantastic for children. The dolphin show was the best I have seen in my life, I was amazed. I want to come back and see it again. To get here just cross the road from the station and go straight.
Raining in Tokyo so took the opportunity to check out the Aquarium. Above average owing to the excellent Dolphin show - has great lighting and water effects. Rest of the exhibits were good but felt sorry for the Seals and Penguins as they don’t have much space. Park has some impressive sized fish that can be seen via the Perspex tunnel - Park has two rides inside bit Galleon was not open when we can and the Carousel was for kids.
