What other travelers are saying about Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa
Family (2 adults + 2 kids) recently.
I think this is a good place to see a show in Tokyo for about the third time.
The theater type dolphin show venue is just amazing with sound, light, video, and projection mapping! The fountains, water curtains, and lighting changes ...... were like an entertainment show, and I was thrilled from start to finish. I was thrilled from start to finish.
The show venue is a fantastic space surrounded by 360° light, and the dolphins' jumps and performances are very beautiful. The show is held during the daytime, and both children and adults were excited by the power and speed of the dolphins' jumps.
Depending on where you sit, you may get splashed by water, so I recommend the "soaking wet zone" for everyone.
One of the best value attractions we visited in Japan!
The dolphin show alone was worth the visit – energetic, well-choreographed, and genuinely fun for the whole family. We were also surprised by how enjoyable the rest of the park was. The penguins were adorable to watch, the aquarium exhibits were well presented, and there were even a few small rides we didn’t expect – and they turned out to be a hit with our kids. A fantastic mix of entertainment and education, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a fun half-day activity in Tokyo.
Ended up coming here on my free day in Tokyo and am happy I did! It’s a great spot if traveling with kids as there are tons of restaurants near by as well! The dolphin show was a lot of fun and interactive for the crowd. Well maintained facilities and good price for entry.
Pure happiness, I enjoyed it greatly to the fullest. Not only is there a dolphin show, amazing animals, and some that you will probably not see if you dont go, there's a terrarium with monster fish and reptiles. Was amazed by the dolphin show (buy tickets ahead of time online to PET THE DOLPHIN.) -Daughter of Reviewer
I love aquariums and this was a great experience! The premises is a little small but it more than makes up for it with the quality of what they have! I was really surprised by the dolphin show in particular, I'm not usually big on those and was more looking forward to their larger tanks (and they have one of those tunnels where you essentially walk through a tank, it's such a cool experience!) but the dolphin show they had was awesome. Definitely well worth the 2500 yen entry fee and I highly recommend anyone in the area checks this place out.
