Top ways to experience Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa
What other travelers are saying about Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa
Best experience for Lifetime. They have a couple of fun rides near the entrance. They make the exhibits fun and easy to learn from. Staff there are very friendly. The dolphin show is much better than many I have seen lately and it's included in admission. The walk through tunnel aquarium allows new perspectives in some of the largest rays and sharks I've gotten close up to. Don't missed out the seal or Penguin feeding time.
The dolphin and seal shows were entertaining and fun. key attraction to the kids as well as elders. Definitely worth the trip.
Beautiful experience and delightful place to spend a half day at. At the entrance, I was first shocked to see a mini indoor Viking ride and cute carousel. But once we got into the aquarium, we were blown away. The shows are a must catch and I would highly recommend visiting.
I love aquariums and this was a great experience! The premises is a little small but it more than makes up for it with the quality of what they have! I was really surprised by the dolphin show in particular, I'm not usually big on those and was more looking forward to their larger tanks (and they have one of those tunnels where you essentially walk through a tank, it's such a cool experience!) but the dolphin show they had was awesome. Definitely well worth the 2500 yen entry fee and I highly recommend anyone in the area checks this place out.
Finding it can be a little complicated on Google maps, but to be clear it is on the third floor of the annex building of the Shinagawa Prince Hotel.
I stumbled upon Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa while killing time before my flight and was blown away! The variety of sea life is incredible—from tiny fish to massive rays, sharks, and even a sawfish. The ticket price (around £12 for an adult) was well worth it. They have different pricing for kids, students, and adults, plus a great gift shop.
The highlight? The dolphin show. It was hands down the most insane performance I’ve seen—dolphins jumping unbelievably high, pulling off double 360s. Absolutely mesmerizing. Highly recommend!
A truly nice exhibition – the overall atmosphere was pleasant and engaging. The graphic installations were beautifully crafted and visually impressive. The dolphin show was both entertaining and educational, making it a real highlight. However, the jellyfish installation absolutely stole the show – it was nothing short of mesmerizing. I highly recommend a visit!
