Crazy Taito! Never seen one this good haha! I kinda stopped visiting Taito locations, but this one changes my mind. I think they have the most pop'n music out of any arcade. Two DDR cabs. Maimai. And some interesting binders of signatures and drawings lol. Many livestream hookups. Very nice place
I stopped by TAITO STATION Shinjuku GameWorld on a weekday evening and it’s exactly the kind of arcade you picture when you think about Japanese game centers. It’s bright, noisy in a fun way, and packed with rows of claw machines, rhythm games, racers, and every type of arcade cabinet you can imagine. The floors are open and easy to navigate, so even if it’s your first time in a place like this you won’t feel lost.
Right when you walk in you hear the mix of electronic sounds and cheers from people playing, which adds to the energetic atmosphere. The claw machines are a major draw - some are stocked with plush toys and quirky prizes that feel like they were chosen just for the challenge, and you’ll see both beginners and seasoned players lining up for a shot. Beyond that, there are classic arcade games where you compete for high scores, racing games with steering wheels and pedals, and music games where people tap and slide along with the rhythm.
One of the enjoyable things about this kind of place is how it brings together locals and travelers without feeling awkward. You’ll see groups of friends laughing over who gets stuck with the joystick and solo players intensely focused on beating their own score. It’s casual enough that you don’t need to be a hardcore gamer to have fun, but there’s enough variety that enthusiasts can spend hours trying different machines.
If you want snacks or drinks, there are vending machines inside too, so you can grab a Coke or cold tea and keep playing without leaving the floor. Staff are around and friendly, and while they don’t hover, they’ll help if you need change or advice on how to work a machine.
TAITO STATION feels like a slice of classic Tokyo entertainment. It’s loud, friendly, and a bit chaotic in the best possible way. If you’re in Shinjuku and want to take a break from walking or sightseeing, spending an hour or two here chasing tickets or mastering a rhythm game is a fun way to experience local hangout culture.

Spent 5000 yen and she couldn’t even use demo to prove , just speak say it should work.
It’s scam and making traps for sure , you could see some others work because it is hard.

Had an absolute blast at TAITO STATION Shinjuku GameWorld! I went in just hoping to have some fun with the claw machines—and ended up walking out with prizes in hand, which made it even better. There’s something so satisfying about finally grabbing a win after a few tries.
The whole place has this lively, exciting vibe that pulls you in, whether you’re just curious or already a fan of arcade games. If you’re anywhere around Shinjuku, this spot is definitely worth dropping by. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time—in the best way—and leave with a big smile (and maybe a prize or two).
Very disappointing experience. Tried many times without success. When I asked the staff for help with the prize position, they just reset it back to default. Very unfriendly. Better to go to other claw arcades instead.
