Here are some key points about the church:
History: The church was built in 1929 and has since been a central place of worship for the local Catholic community. Its architecture reflects the style of that period, with a blend of Western and Japanese influences.
Architecture: The church is known for its beautiful and serene design. It features a traditional Western-style structure with a bell tower, stained glass windows, and a peaceful interior that invites reflection and prayer.
Community Role: The church serves as a hub for the local Catholic community, hosting regular Masses, religious ceremonies, and community events. However, as you experienced, there might be times when a priest is not available, and the community gathers for prayer and assembly instead.

as today 15th Sept is the feast of the Lady of Sorrow, we found time to visit and upon arriving found the church doors opened,
we prayed before the grotto of course in front of the Lady,
inside the church, it's so serene and so lovely,
when we were about to leave, we met a locally born woman and she is visiting she said,
as we're catholics even though it's our first time here we welcome her and brought her around the church explaining the passion of Christ using the 14 station,
her name is Hiroko and if you're reading, please pray for her and for her illness, amen, thank you and God bless,
