How to Spend a Day at Osaka Castle, Osaka Tenmangu, and Tenjinbashi-suji
Osaka is a city full of history, culture, and great food. This guide will take you through a full day of exploring some of the city's most famous spots. You'll walk through Osaka Castle, visit the Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, and shop along Tenjinbashi-suji, Japan’s longest shopping street.

Take a Train to Morinomiya or Osakajokoen Station
Start your day by taking a train to Morinomiya Station or Osakajokoen Station. These stations are close to Osaka Castle, your first stop.
Train Options:
Osaka Metro Chuo Line → Morinomiya Station
JR Loop Line → Osakajokoen Station
Tanimachi Line → Tanimachi 4-chome Station (another option)
From the station, follow the signs to Osaka Castle Park.
Visit Osaka Castle and Osaka Castle Park
Walking Distance: 5–10 minutes from the station
Entrance Fee: ¥600 (for the castle tower)
Things to Do at Osaka Castle:
✔ Walk around Osaka Castle Park and enjoy the gardens.
✔ Visit the Osaka Castle Museum to learn about Samurai history.
✔ Go up to the observation deck for a great city view.

Take a Train to Osaka Tenmangu Station

Train Time: About 10 minutes
Once you arrive, walk to Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, an important shrine in Osaka.
