What other travelers are saying about Ebisu Garden Place

A very famous place for year-end holiday seasons including Christmas. Not a huge space, but it’s quite convenient from the Ebisu JR station. The lights are very dedicated and the atmosphere is great regardless being crowded during the holiday season. Has shopping mall, cafes, Michelin restaurants and an Ebisu brand beer museum

A nice venue, but the beer festival was an organisational shambles. When I tried to enter, the staff sent me on a wild goose-chase (walking around the building) twice! It was only when I returned to the entrance a third time that they seemed to realise that I just wanted to get my glass and enter the venue. On a more positive note, it's free to enter and one gets a free glass. Of course, being Ebisu, it's basically one beer stopped at varying stages of the brewing process and sold as under different names (even the supposed stout is just a dark lager). There were only three food trucks and I had to flag down a person in an orange hat in order to pay and then proceed to the bar. It's totally cashless also.

So lovely at night during Christmas - super nice vibes. There were lots of local Japanese students around (not totally sure what was going on). Some restaurants were a bit hard to find since there are so many buildings in the area. Definitely double-check the actual map, not just Google Maps, since some building and floor details weren’t accurate. Low-key feels like a maze.

The lighting is very beautiful. There are several stalls selling food in the market. There are not too many shops in the square. There are many gourmet restaurants nearby. You can come here to admire the illuminations and then have a meal nearby.

Beautiful to stroll by but other than the chandelier there wasn’t much to do and the Christmas market had 1-2 vendors open
