Kawazu, un pueblo costero en la península de Izu en la prefectura de Shizuoka, es famoso por sus cerezos de floración temprana. El Festival de los Cerezos de Kawazu en febrero atrae a visitantes que vienen a ver las vibrantes flores rosadas que bordean el río Kawazu.
