Un tour de un día completo desde Shinjuku guiado por un guía local de habla inglesa, senderismo por el monte Takao con paradas en el museo de la naturaleza, el Parque de los Monos, el puente colgante, la avenida del cedro, el templo Yakuoin y la cima. El monte Fuji es visible desde la cima del monte Takao en días despejados. La visibilidad depende totalmente de las condiciones meteorológicas y no se puede garantizar. Los días despejados son más comunes durante los meses de otoño e invierno durante la temporada de funcionamiento de la gira.
La comida no está incluida. En la cima se ofrece una pausa de 45 minutos, donde el café de la cima sirve platos de fideos recién preparados. Los invitados también pueden traer su propio picnic lleno para disfrutar en la cima.
Unos zapatos resistentes para caminar son esenciales para los senderos de montaña. Se recomienda ropa en capas, ya que las temperaturas en la montaña pueden ser más frescas que en el centro de Tokio. Una chaqueta impermeable o un paraguas es recomendable independientemente del pronóstico. En otoño e invierno se recomienda ropa abrigadora, ya que las temperaturas en la cima pueden bajar considerablemente.
El equipaje grande y las bolsas sobredimensionadas no son adecuados para esta ruta de senderismo. Se recomienda a los huéspedes guardar el equipaje en su hotel o en una taquilla de una estación cercana antes de embarcar. Hay taquillas disponibles en Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Ueno y la estación de Tokio.

I was pleasantly surprised and amazed by the breathtaking views and sceneries along the way while hiking up the Mount Takao. Jeff was very professional and thoughtful in personalised the trip to suit the needs of the tour members. He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Japan and I learnt a lot about Japan during this trip. Jeff also provided some recommendations and tips that only locals might know. Thanks to Jeff, we we were able to get a glimpse of Mount Fuji and got plenty of photos taken. I don't think I will be able to this trip by myself without the the guide (Jeff) from this tour.

Fun escape from Tokyo
My tour guide Jeff was amazing and explained all the history in great detail. Would recommend Jeff to anyone looking to leave the city for a day trip and see some beautiful nature in the mountains.

A breath of fresh air away from the buzzing cities
I was pleasantly surprised and amazed by the breathtaking views and sceneries along the way while hiking up the Mount Takao. Jeff was very professional and thoughtful in personalised the trip to suit the needs of the tour members. He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Japan and I learnt a lot about Japan during this trip. Jeff also provided some recommendations and tips that only locals might know.
