Tea Ceremony Experience in Kyoto: Ryurei Style or Large Tea Room (No Kimono)

This is a shared experience with other groups, not a private booking.

The tea seat used on the day is chosen by Tondaya and cannot be selected.

Please arrive on time; late arrivals join the session partway through, and sessions cannot start early.

If a group arrives late, joining that slot is not possible; rebooking or private handling incurs a private fee paid on site.

Children are welcome; there is no child rate, so the standard fee applies per person.

Socks are required; forgotten socks must be purchased on site, and stockings are not permitted.

Tell the venue in advance about any allergies or foods you cannot eat.

Not all staff speak fluent English and translation devices may be used; inquire in advance to confirm non-English language support.
