A quaint little mosque with room for men and women, wudu’ area. Clean, with friendly people. There are also paid parking space available nearby. Also a halal store and a few halal eateries nearby.
The location is quite strategic—close to the station and easily accessible for pedestrians. There are several halal shops and restaurants nearby, which is very helpful for mosleem travelers . The mosque is clean and well-maintained. I would love to come again next time. If you visit, don’t forget to give your best donation (infaq) to support the development of Otsuka Mosque.
A prayer place for Muslim is called Mosque. Its situated at otsuka, 5-6 mins walk from otsuka station. Its a 5 floored building. I had a experience of iftar mahfil organized by a volunteer organization. It was vibrant and joyful environment. Male and Female prayer rooms were different. Famous Muslim scholar gave his presence and narrated Ramadan (Month of fasting) beautifully . We did prayer together, iftar together with so many others nationalities. Its was a valuable and memorable experience for me.
Yes, non-Muslims are generally welcome to visit the Japan Islamic Cultural Center and learn about Islamic culture and practices. However, visitors should dress modestly, remove shoes when entering prayer areas, and maintain respectful behavior throughout their visit. It's recommended to contact the center in advance to arrange a guided tour and confirm visiting hours, as prayer times and religious observances may affect public access.
The main facility, Masjid Otsuka, is located at 3-42-7 Minami Otsuka, Toshima-ku, Tokyo. The center is accessible via public transportation to the Otsuka area in Toshima ward. While not primarily a restaurant, the center serves as a resource for Muslim travelers seeking halal food recommendations and connects visitors with Tokyo's halal dining scene.
