Shiba Park is one of the oldest parks in Tokyo, opened in 1873. It is in Minato City, right next to Tokyo Tower, giving visitors a great view of the famous landmark. The park is a quiet and relaxing place with open green spaces, walking paths, and benches where people can sit and enjoy nature.
Inside the park is Zojoji Temple, a very old Buddhist temple with a deep history. It was an important place for the Tokugawa family, who ruled Japan for many years. Some of their graves are still there today, making the temple a special cultural site.
Shiba Park is most beautiful in spring when the cherry blossom trees bloom. Many people visit to see the pink flowers and have picnics under the trees.
