What other travelers are saying about Tempozan Market Place
This was where we alighted from the bus we took from Osakako Station. The mall is big and is connected to the giant ferris wheel. It has a lot of food stalls and restaurants where you can relax after visiting the Osaka Kaiyukan. It also has souvenir shops and a Lego land within the mall. We had lunch there before going to the aquarium and had coffee and some snacks after.
This market place is next to the Ferris wheel. It consisted of stores entertainment and restaurants. They have a Legoland inside (I didn’t go in).
There are mostly home goods and clothes. There's a section of petting zoo (really unexpected). Giant rabbits and hamsters are running around inside and you can feed them. Very clean and no smell at all.
Price is reasonable. No high end products here. People are very very nice. Bathroom is clean. The whole mall is super clean. I highly recommend as a tourist spot as well after the Ferris Wheel.
This mall/marketplace is an excellent destination for tourists as it is adjacent to the ferris wheel, Osaka Aquarium, and Legoland. It is very clean and well air conditioned.
They have a food court with few stores and lots of sitting space. There are lots of good shops for buying apparels, traditional Japanese products and souvenirs. There’s also a Daiso. Prices of the items here relatively same to other shopping areas. The staff in the shops are also very friendly. They greet every customer and try to help with any question.
Great place with many choices under one roof. 1F Samurai Market for those who crave some Ninja. Food, Food, Food every floor. Authentic Osaka culture well displayed.
Tempozan Marketplace is situated in the Minato Ward of Osaka, close to the bay area. It's easily accessible by public transport, with Osakako Station being the nearest subway stop.
The marketplace features a wide range of shops including souvenir stores, fashion boutiques, and specialty shops offering local crafts, sweets, and other unique items.
Yes, there's a diverse selection of dining options available, ranging from fast food and cafes to gourmet restaurants. The marketplace is also known for its food court, which offers a variety of international and Japanese cuisines.
There is no fee to enter the marketplace itself, but some attractions within the marketplace, like the Ferris wheel and Legoland Discovery Center, have their own admission fees.
While Tempozan Marketplace is more modern and commercial, it does offer a taste of local culture, especially through its food offerings and some local shops. For a more traditional experience, visitors might explore other areas of Osaka as well.
