Exploring the Fuji area by car leads you to breathtaking, less touristy spots like Lake Saiko. We drove around the lake and discovered so many stunning hidden gems along the way!
This is a smaller lake, but a great place for camping. We rode our bikes so could feel some part of the road isn't too smooth, in fact very bumpy, but some parts are so great. Worth a quick visit if you have a car or bike, or would like to go camping.
This lake has a beautiful scenic view of Mt.Fuji. It's also quiet, peaceful, and not too crowded. An Iyashi no Sato ancient village is nearby. You can get into this place by car or green line bus. If you are looking for a quiet place in Fuji five lakes area, this may be your answer.
There are some attractions and hiking route starting from the lake. There are not many store around, so it’s better to prepare food and drink before your plan.
