If you miss the departure time, you may not be able to join the tour. Since this is a group experience with a fixed schedule, the vehicle must leave on time from each pickup point.

The tour includes a moderate amount of walking, especially at Matsumoto Castle and Narai-juku. Streets in these areas are historic and may be uneven, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Fantastic tour!
We had the most amazing one day tour with our guide Hiroshi! We ended up booking on a cold and rainy day, which worked out for the best as we were the only ones on the tour and both Matsumoto and Narai-Juku were not very busy. There is a bit of driving involved but it’s totally worth it to learn all about two important and beautiful landmarks in Japan. The tour guide went above and beyond answering all our questions, and providing so much knowledge about the two landmarks. Would highly recommend!
